Wolves are continuing to fire and go well in the Premier League ahead of a tough Monday Night Football fixture against Manchester City tomorrow.

The Premier League newcomers have taken to the top flight with ease under manager Nuno Santo, and there is high hopes among those involved with the club that a finish in the top eight remains a feasible possibility.

However, to ensure they do so the club could well do with adding some quality in certain areas of the field, including up front, where a move for Tammy Abraham failed to materialise leaving Santo to re-assess his options for the rest of the month.

There are players out there though, and we here at the Tavern feel that signing Brentford striker Neal Maupay would be a smart move for the Molineux club.

The French forward has been in superb form for the Bees this term, knocking in 15 goals in what has been an exceptional season on a personal level, despite the struggles in general for the London club.

Maupay has bags of quality in front of goal, but his overall play and ability to bring others into the game is also top drawer, as shown by the amount of assists he’s laid on for teammates this term too.

While he will cost a hefty chunk of change, Wolves don’t have to worry about that, and he could prove a superb addition to the frontline alongside the likes of Raul Jimenez and Leo Bonatini.
