With ongoing financial struggles backing the club into a corner in the past couple of years, more and more emphasis has been placed on bringing through youngsters to shape the future at QPR, with signing big-name players to make an impact in the short-term no longer realistic.

Mark Warburton looks set to give the youth ample opportunities in the first team in 2019/20 and for Marcin Brzozowski, who signed a contract extension on Tuesday that will keep him at Loftus Road until next summer, it’s an exciting time.
